I wanted to celebrate woman’s day by sharing this photo of my mum, which I found whilst looking through some pictures with mum and my sisters. What a strong and caring woman she is even with the shawl of Alzheimer’s, she still manages to keep going. That inspires me.
The image itself really struck a cord with me, how beautifully it’s composed and the way mum seems to shine, as she should, as it was taken on her wedding day over 40 years ago. The photographer really captured the moment without a digital camera in sight.
